From biking to rafting in Nauders on the Reschenpass
Besides its numerous hiking trails, Nauders and its surrounding area also offer plenty to suit mountain bikers, climbers, surfers and rafting fans.
Mountain biking & CyclingThe Reschenpass biking region is home to a number of different bike tours of every level of difficulty. Over more than 1400 km of signposted trails go straight through Nauders and spread out from there including cycle round trip trails, cultural excursions around the Reschen lake as well as challenging tours in the fantastic mountain landscape of the surrounding three thousand metre high mountains with well-kept downhills. Racing cyclists can really push the limits in the 3-country border region Austria-Italy-Switzerland. |
ClimbingIn the Tiroler Oberland there are numerous walls to conquer. Throughout the whole region you’ll find routes, via ferratas and rock climbing parks. Particularly well-known and popular are the Goldweg via ferratas and the Tirolerweg via ferrata. |
RaftingThe Tyrolean torrents and rivers are exactly perfect for a rafting tour and make Nauders one of the most popular starting points for a lively summer adventure. From a gentle family tour to a beginners‘ tour and ultimately to a tour for experts, everyone can pick their own favourite stretch on the Inn, the Öztaler Ache and other Tyrolean rivers. |
Windsurfing & KitesurfingRiding the waves on a surfboard – Reschen Lake is no longer an insider tip. Due to its ideal wind conditions, Reschen Lake is also a popular spot for both windsurfing and kitesurfing. On the reservoir on the Reschen pass, you’ll also find the elite of Austrian kitesurfers among the kitesurfers surfing there. |
